A legendary Somali singer who recently passed away in London was buried in the same city.
Ahmed Naji Sa’ad, the singer who passed away earlier this week, was buried in the city where he passed away on Thursday.
Hundreds of mourners attended his burial.
Many of the mourners traveled from different parts of the United Kingdom as well as other locations in Europe.
Abdulkadir Ahmed Kheyr, the Somali Ambassador to the UK, was one of the mourners at the ceremony.
Sa’ad had an excellent career as a singer, poet, and musician. He also made a name for himself as a peace activist and patriot.
