A local businessman donated beds and medical equipment to a hospital in the Middle Shabelle region.
Ahmed Ali Beyr handed over the beds and equipment to the health facility in Mir-Taqwa on Wednesday.
A year ago, Al-Shabaab terrorists attacked and looted the hospital while fleeing from the Somali National Army (SNA). They have never been back since then.
In the meantime, the health facility has struggled to provide much-needed services to the local population.
