The Governor of the Lower Shabelle region has traveled to visit Afgoye District Hospital.
Governor Ibrahim Adan Ali Najah visited the hospital on Saturday, July 16.
His purpose for visiting the medical facility was to assess the situation regarding the number of malnourished children at the hospital.
Several children have been admitted to the hospital to receive medical attention.
Stakeholders have expressed concern about the fact that the number of children at the hospital has been on the rise.
