President Ahmed Sheikh Mohamed Islam Madobe of Jubbaland briefed the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner on the humanitarian situation in the region.
The meeting between President Madobe and SODMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim took place on Sunday.
Their discussions mostly revolved around Gedo, a region that has suffered its fair share of the recent floods from intense rains.
