Police officers in Mogadishu detained 21 TikTokers whom they accuse of inciting members of public to violence.
The officers arrested the influencers in an operation conducted on Sunday.
Authorities stated that the influencers are in police custody after investigations revealed their role in inciting the public to violence and clan hatred.
Those arrested were found culpable of incitement on other social media platforms too.
