President Ahmed Islan Madobe of Jubbaland presided over the graduation ceremony for the Darawish Paramilitary Unit on Tuesday.
The ceremony took place in Jubbaland’s administrative capital of Kismayo.
During the ceremony, Madobe hailed them for successfully going through an intense training that lasted several months.
Furthermore, Madobe also assured the new officers that they would be deployed within Jubbaland to help liberate the areas that remain under the control of Al-Shabaab militants.
