A man who tipped government agencies on a planned terrorist attack in Mogadishu has received a reward of $20,000.
National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) presented Galbed Hussein Adan with a cheque for $20,000 for his heroic deed.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre and Mahad Salad presented him with the cheque.
Salad is the Head of NISA.
The two senior government officials rewarded Adan for recently informing security forces of a Tuk-Tuk filled with explosive devices.
Security forces responded fast by nabbing the vehicle and its occupants.
