A mentally ill man reportedly killed an Ethiopian Oromo girl in Dhusamareb.
The man committed the offense on Wednesday in Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of the regional state of Galmudug.
The incident comes at a time of increased political tension between Somalia and Ethiopia.
Somalia is increasingly vexed that Ethiopia signed a deal with Somaliland in which it promised to handle the latter as an independent state.
Somaliland then accords Ethiopia direct access and control to 20kms of its coastline.
Somalia has been livid with this deal for over a week now. It’s not clear whether the alleged killer has been arrested.
