Reports from Somalia indicate that militants have assassinated a senior district official on October 27.
According to security agents, the incident took place between Kahda and Elasha Biyaha on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, reports of an explosion in the area have also emerged.
Multiple sources and eyewitnesses confirmed that the district official is not the only person who died in the explosion.
Sources said that there have been several casualties.
Security agents have launched investigations into the matter to determine the people behind the explosion.
