Brig. Gen. Odowaa Yusuf Rageh, Somalia’s Chief of military, visited his troops in Dhusamareeb.
During the visit, the soldiers, who are part of the 21st Division of Somalia’s military, offered several reassurances to Brig. Gen. Odowaa.
The soldiers said that they were well intentioned and would not cede their constitutional mandate and training to safeguard the country from external attacks.
Furthermore, they assured Gen. Odowaa of the commitment to defend Somalia from all internal forces designed to destabilize the Horn of Africa nation too.
Nevertheless, the soldiers asked Gen. Odowaa to improve the condition of their barracks and ensure that they never run out of supplies they need to do their job well.
