Col. Hassan Shuute, a military judge in Somalia, has called for the arrest of the Wanwlaweyn killers who wrecked havoc in the region over the past week.
Last week, bloody clashes in Wanwlaweyn led to the death of more than 20 people. Col. Shuute asked security forces in the country to move quickly to apprehend the killers.
The military judge was speaking during a tour of area amidst rising tensions. He called for the prosecution of everyone who participated in the murder of 20 Somalis in the region.
He said, “We are here to judge the actions of those who killed more than 20 innocent people a week ago. We will fulfill our mission by bringing them to book.”
