An attempted attack by Al-Shabaab terrorists on a Somali National Army (SNA) collapsed spectacularly.
SNA and local militia joined forces to repel the planned attack at the army base in Budbud.
Budbud has been the scene of intense counterterrorism operations in the last few days.
Wednesday’s repulsion by the army and local forces left the terrorists with huge losses.
Reports from the region add that the army has pursued the terrorists deep into remote places.
