Hon. Abdillahi Abokor, Somaliland’s Minister for Roads and Transport, inspected the ongoing construction work along the Hargeisa-Baligubadle Road.
Abokor led a delegation featuring various top officials to inspect the construction of the strategic road.
Several districts are expected to benefit from the newly constructed road.
Accompanying Abokor was Sheikh Khalil Abdillahi Ahmed, the Minister of Religious Affairs, who delivered a speech on site expressing his gratitude to the road and transport ministry.
The Director General in the Ministry of Roads and Transport was part of the delegation together with the Managing Director of the Somaliland Roads Development Agency.
During the inspection, the transport ministry acknowledged the excellent work members of the Baligubadle Road Construction Committee had done to start and complete the project.
