On Sunday, cabinet ministers briefed Somalia’s Acting Prime Minister on the state of the economic reforms on the country.
The cabinet met on August 30 at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu.
Several government ministers and technocrats used the opportunity to brief Mahdi M. Gulaid, the Acting Premier, on the status of the country’s economic reforms.
Gulaid assured the country that the government remains committed to strengthening the economy for the benefit of all Somalis.
Furthermore, he reiterated the government’s policies, which are geared towards improving public financial management and good governance.
He asked all stakeholders to join the government in pursuing financial and economic success.
