Ministry of Fishery Delivers Medical Donation to Budhole

Somalia’s Ministry of Fishery has delivered medical donations to Budhole in Somaliland in a move that is likely to worsen the already bad diplomatic relations between the two nations.

The donation comes at a time when the political leaders in the two nations are yet to meet to iron out their differences.

Officials from Somalia’s fishery ministry arrived in Budhole on Monday.

The delegation arrived in Somaliland with a load of medical supplies being donated to help the local administration to handle the effects of COVID-19 in the region.

Reports indicate that medical centers responsible for testing and treating COVID-19 cases are to receive the medical donation.

All the centers that are eligible for the medical aid are under the control of authorities in Somaliland and Puntland administrations.
