Mogadishu Cable TV Rebrands

Mogadishu Cable TV has rebranded.

Henceforth, the media station, which was founded in 2012, would be known as Bile TV.

The station was one of the first to operate as a Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial (DVBT) company in the East African nation.

Since then, it has continued to provide quality services and attract some of the brightest talents in the country.

The station held a ceremony on Thursday, August 25 to announce its new name to the public.

Several senior government officials attended the ceremony.

Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala, the Deputy Minister of Information in the Somali government, was one of the guests at the rebranding ceremony.

He unveiled the new name together with Basma Aamir Shaketi and Abdirashid Mohamed Siraj.

Siraj is the Chairman of the Executive Board of Bile TV while Shaketi is the Commissioner of Social Affairs in the Benadir Regional Administration (BRA).
