Mogadishu City were kicked out of the ongoing Confederation of Africa (CAF) Champions League.
The Somalia club were eliminated after losing 0-2 at home to SONIDEP from Niger.
Mogadishu City had lost the first leg 2-0 on November 29 away from home. The first leg was played in Niger.
The Somali club won the 2019/2020 Nation Link Telecom Championship with 36 points from 18 matches to get the chance to represent the country in the continental tournament.
They now drop to the CAF Confederations Cup for a chance to qualify for the lucrative group stages.
