Mogadishu Court to Hear Appeal of Man Convicted of Murdering Wife

A Mogadishu court is now ready to hear the appeal of a man who was convicted of burning and killing his wife.

Benadir Regional Court of Appeal is to hear the appeal that Sayid Ali Maalim Daoud filed in it after his conviction.

Sayid was found guilty of not only burning but also killing his wife.

His wife was rushed to hospital from where she succumbed to the injuries suffered during the attack.

The appeal kicks off on Sunday, April 21.

Sayid was already found guilty of killing Luul Abdicasis, his wife, and sentenced to death.
