Mogadishu will host training on the creation of content for social media.
The 3-day training kicked off on June 13.
Osman Dubbe, the federal Minister for Information, Culture, and Tourism opened the training on Monday.
The training has attracted 40 journalists from different parts of the country.
Some of the journalists work for state media while others are from privately-owned media stations in Somalia.
Dubbe welcomed all participants to the training, which is taking place courtesy of support from the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM).
He wished them success post-training.
