Mogadishu Hosts World Tourism Day Celebrations

Mogadishu hosted celebrations held to mark World Tourism Day.

Daud Aweis, the federal Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, led the celebrations held on Tuesday, September 27.

Aweis addressed the stakeholders and members of the public that attended the event.

In his address, the minister said that the East African nation is ready for tourism.

He reminded the world of the many tourist attractions that Somalia has to offer and the fact that the government is working hard to revive the tourism sector in the country.
