Omar M. M. Filish, the Mayor of Mogadishu, hosted the Country Director of the Save the Children Somalia organization in his office on October 1.
During the meeting, Mayor Filish discussed several important issues with the delegation from Somalia’s chapter of the Save the Children.
Some of the issues they discussed include finding ways of improving the health of children around the region.
Filish, also serving as the Governor of Banadir Region, talked about children’s education and rights with Save the Children’s Country Director too.
They also held a discussion designed to find ways of helping poor and vulnerable people from the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
