Mayor Yusuf Hussein Jimale of Mogadishu held discussions on wide-ranging topics with the United States Ambassador to Somalia.
The Mayor’s meeting and subsequent discussions with US Ambassador Larry Andre took place on Thursday in Mogadishu.
Some of the issues they discussed included education and the creation of more employment opportunities for the residents of Mogadishu.
They also spoke about the different ways that United States Agency for International Development (USAID) can support Mogadishu Municipality.
Specifically, their discussions revolved around the priorities of the Mogadishu Municipality, which include infrastructure development and economic revival.
