The Mayor of Mogadishu visited the family of the late Lul Abdiasis on Saturday.
Mayor Yusuf Mandale condoled with the family following the shocking incident that caused Lul’s death.
Lul died from injuries sustained when her husband set her on fire.
She succumbed to the injuries despite being rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
Her husband is currently a fugitive.
However, authorities have issued a warrant of arrest for him. They launched a manhunt for him and anyone who enabled his escaped.
Mayor Madale promised to support the education of all the six children that Lul left behind.
At the time of her death, Lul was seven-months pregnant.
