A mother of four died on February 23 after falling to her death in a 90-meter well in Mogadishu.
The woman, who was pregnant with her fifth child, lived in a nearby Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp with her family.
She was identified as Asli Mudey.
The incident left local residents in great dismay and shock. Mudey and her family were from an IDP camp in Garasbaley village.
According to the local residents, nobody had any knowledge of the well’s existence.
Mudey was collecting firewood when she slipped and fell into the well.
