Mogadishu is on complete lockdown ahead of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s inauguration.
Authorities announced that all roads in the national capital city would remain closed from 10 pm on Wednesday to Thursday at 5 pm.
The purpose of the lockdown is to bolster security in Mogadishu.
The city is playing host to a huge number of foreign dignitaries who have been arriving since Monday this week for President Mohamud’s inauguration.
