Police officers in Mogadishu arrested a man suspected of being an Al-Shabaab terrorist.
The officers apprehended the man who attempted to launch a grenade at a residential house in the nation’s capital on Monday night.
He hurled the grenade at a house belonging to a senior Somali National Army (SNA) commander.
The grenade failed to explode.
Security agencies immediately went after him. They caught and arrested him as he attempted to flee from the scene of crime.
He’s expected to appear before a court of law soon.
