Mogadishu Police Chief Vows to Bring Lul’s Murderer to Justice

The Mogadishu police chief has vowed to bring the person who murdered Lul Abdiasis to justice as soon as possible.

Mahdi Omar, the chief of the Mogadishu police, vowed not to rest on his laurels until Sayid Ali Moalim Daud is arrested and taken to court.

Daud set his wife, Lul, on fire a few days ago. She was then rushed to a nearby hospital in Mogadishu from where she succumbed to her injuries.

Daud took off and went into hiding. However, the local police have issued a warrant of arrest and launched a manhunt for him.

While addressing the media on Saturday, the Mogadishu police chief promised to hold accountable every person who helped Daud to evade justice.
