Residents of Mogadishu handed over two Al-Shabaab terrorists they had earlier apprehended to the government.
The residents of Karan district in the national capital handed over the two terrorists to the government on Wednesday, October 19.
Sadik Duudishe, a spokesperson of the Somali Police Force (SPF), confirmed this development to members of the press in an interview.
He said that the two terrorists had attempted to flee after assassinating a government soldier in Mogadishu on Wednesday evening.
However, members of the public apprehended them until police officers arrived. The police then took the assassins into their custody.
