A Mogadishu teacher who was killed two weeks ago has been laid to rest.
Abdirahman Ma’alow was buried in the nation’s capital on Wednesday, February 21.
His murder caused widespread condemnation and angst in Somalia when it occurred two weeks ago.
The brother of a young female student accosted and stabbed Ma’alow to death.
The girl’s brother was angry at the way the teacher handled her academic indiscretions.
At the moment, authorities are yet to apprehend the teacher’s murderer.
They have called upon the police to arrest him fast.
