A meeting to design Phase II of the Joint Police Programme (JPP) will take place in Mogadishu this week.
Experts on the rule of law and policing from the United Nations will attend the meeting.
They will join their colleagues from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and the Federal Member States (FMS) in the event.
International partners will send their representatives to the event too.
JPP is a programme funded by the European Union (EU) to strengthen the Somali Police Force (SPF) by promoting community policing, gender equality, and improved delivery of service.
