President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held a meeting with members of the Somali business community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
President Mohamud’s meeting with the business community in UAE took place on Thursday, June 23.
Currently, the Somali leader is on an official visit to the UAE at the invitation of President Mohamed Bin Zayed of the Middle East nation.
Mohamud also met with the Somali diaspora in the UAE.
He briefed them on the efforts that his administration is making to improve relations between Somalia and UAE.
President Mohamud assured Somalis that his government would make it easier for them to obtain residence permits and visas in the UAE.
