Two commissioners with Somaliland’s National Aids Commission (SOLNAC) visited Hargeisa General Hospital to carry out a detailed inspection of anti-retroviral (ARV) storage facilities.
The commissioners visited the facility on Sunday August 16.
Doctors and other health professionals at the medical facility briefed the commissioners on the ARV storage.
One of the senior officers with COOPI International, an organization running the facility, also briefed the two SOLNAC officials.
The two commissioners stated that they visited the facility to evaluate its capacity is up to date and the quality of service unmatched for the benefit of patients who need the drugs.
COOPI is tasked with the responsibility of bringing the drugs in Somaliland before distributing it around the country.
