National Civilian Protection Forum Takes Place in Mogadishu

The National Civilian Protection Forum, which took place in Mogadishu today, is a significant step toward safeguarding civilians during Somalia’s ongoing security transitions and liberation efforts.

Led by Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs Abdihakim Ashkir and Special Presidential Envoy for Stabilization and Civilian Protection Omar Hashi, the forum united stakeholders, including federal government and regional states ministers, international partners, and government agencies.

Organized by the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Stabilization, it emphasizes the importance of coordinated efforts to enhance civilian protection amid Somalia’s complex security challenges.
