A new academy where women entrepreneurs in Somalia would receive quality and relevant training has been launched.
The facility, which is to be known as the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), has been established with the help of the United States Embassy in Mogadishu.
The Embassy announced the establishment and opening of the academy.
It has requested women entrepreneurs in the country to pursue their training at the facility.
AWE is an initiative run by the US State Department.
The first program for the entrepreneurs at the Somali facility kicks off this month. It is designed for training a cohort of 30 learners.
