The new commander of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) has made his maiden trip to the African continent.
Gen. Michael Langley of the US Marine Corps visited different African countries this week.
He assumed office as the AFRICOM Commander on August 9.
Some of the African countries he has toured include Somalia, Djibouti, and Kenya. In Kenya, he specifically visited Manda Bay.
His visit to these countries lasted from August 28-31, 2022.
