The new chief of the Somalia National Armed Forces Court has assumed office.
General Liban Ali Yarrow took over the reins from his predecessor in a handing-over ceremony that took place in Mogadishu on Thursday.
Gen. Yarrow takes over from Gen. Mohamud his predecessor.
Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, the federal Minister of Defense, was present to witness the handing over of power from Gen. Mohamud to Gen. Yarrow.
The minister commended Gen. Mohamud for his stellar stewardship of the military court.
He wished the incoming head of the military court all the success.
