The new Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) has taken over the reins from the predecessor.
Dr. Ali Yasin Sheikh assumed office on December 5.
Dr. Sheikh takes over from Maryam Abdullahi Yusuf.
The handing-over ceremony took place on Monday. Raho Mohamed Janaqow presided over the ceremony attended by other senior officials from the CBS.
Janaqow is the State Minister of Finance.
