The new head of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) has arrived in Mogadishu to take up his duties.
Ambassador Souef Mohamed El-Amine arrived in Somalia’s capital city on November 20.
The plane carrying him landed at Aden Adde International Airport on Sunday morning.
Ambassador El-Amine will take over as the new Special Representative of the AU Commission Chairperson (SRCC) in Somalia.
