India has appointed Virander Kumar Paul as the country’s new High Commissioner to Somalia effective immediately.
Ambassador Kumar Paul is already the Indian High Commissioner to Kenya.
As from January 7, 2021 Ambassador Kumar Paul would be doubling as the Indian High Commissioner to Somalia too.
His appointment was confirmed in an official communiqué from the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
Ambassador Kumar Paul takes over from Rahul Chhabra.
