The new Mayor of Mogadishu visited the federal Minister of Mogadishu on Friday.
Mayor Yusuf H. Jimale, who also serves as the Governor of Banadir Regional Administration (BRA), visited Dr. Elmi M. Nur.
Dr. Nur is the nation’s finance minister.
Jimale visited Dr. Nur at the offices of the Ministry of Finance in Mogadishu.
The two leaders discussed several issues. These included the need for raising domestic revenue further.
They also spoke about improving public financial management and good governance.
Dr. Nur expressed his hope that he would forge an excellent working relationship with the Mayor of Mogadishu and other members of the Banadir administration.
