A fresh mortar attack has been reported in Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug State.
According to sources, the attack was recorded on February 4.
Currently, the city is hosting the National Consultative Conference on elections between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).
The attack was the second one in the last five days.
Security agents confirmed that a similar attack took place in Dhusamareb on Monday, the first day of the national conference on elections.
Suspected Al-Shabaab militants are believed to have carried out the Thursday night attack.
Nevertheless, it is not yet clear whether any casualties were reported in the second attack, which comes amid reports that the government has tightened security in the city.
