The new United Nations Ambassador to Somalia held discussions with the Head of the African Union Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
Ambassador Catriona Laing met Souef Mohamed El-Amine in Mogadishu on Sunday.
El-Amine was not alone in the meeting, though.
He was accompanied by Ambassadors of all nations that contribute their troops to ATMIS.
Insiders indicated that the meeting was to enable all participants and stakeholders to discuss their joint support for the upcoming transition of security-related tasks to the Somali government.
