The National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (NIEBC) of Somalia held its third consultation meeting in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The session brought various political associations and electoral stakeholders together under one roof to discuss and refine the electoral process.
The meeting sought to foster collaboration and ensure transparency as Somalia prepares for its upcoming elections, according to Abdikarim Ahmed Hassan, the chief of the electoral body.
This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen democratic processes and inclusivity in Somalia’s political landscape.
