Nine new COVID-19 infections have been reported in Somalia thereby pushing the tally past the 3,000.
The country’s Ministry of Health announced the new figures yesterday after testing samples over the last 24 hours.
In recent weeks, Somalia has noted a significant reduction in the number of daily infections although the tally of 3,006 remains quite high in the Horn of Africa region.
As per the health ministry’s recent announcement, the tally of death remains 92 while recoveries have now grown to 1,051.
