Nine victims of the October 29 terror attack in Mogadishu have been flown to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for treatment.
More than 300 people were injured when Al-Shabaab terrorists attacked the headquarters of the Ministry of Education at K-5 Junction, Mogadishu on October 29.
Some of the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals where they received treatment before being discharged and returning home.
However, others had severe injuries that require medical attention outside the borders of the East African nation.
Earlier this week, a few of them were flown to Turkey.
On November 10, the government airlifted nine others to the UAE.
Dr. Ali Haji, the federal Minister of Health, confirmed the latest development to members of the press on Friday.
