Today, Deputy Director General of the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) and Abdirahman Said inaugurated the National ID Verification System Integration Workshop, bringing together service providers and relying entities.
This event marks a pivotal step in advancing digital trust, secure data exchange, and the protection of citizens’ information as Somalia continues to expand its digital identity ecosystem.
Through NIRA’s Hubiye Platform, public and private institutions can access seamless ID verification and eKYC services. The platform is already being utilized by multiple organizations across Somalia to authenticate customers using National IDs, enhancing efficiency and security in digital transactions.
