Consequently, Somalia Journalists Syndicate (SJS) issued a strongly worded statement condemning the government’s decision to arrest Mohamed Abdiwahab Nuur.
Nuur, who is affectionately known as Abuuja, was arrested on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 11.30am in Mogadishu while traveling to his workplace.
While speaking to SJS, Radio Hiigsi’s Director, Hussein Ahmed Tifow, confirmed news of his arrest.
