NISA Arrests Man Accused of Spreading Extremist Ideology

The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) arrested a man accused of spreading extremist ideology in Somalia and Kenya.

NISA announced that Sufyan Sheikh Ahmed aka Taakeeye on Tuesday.

Taakeeye was apparently arrested in Nairobi before being taken to Mogadishu where he was handed over to NISA.

He also stands accused of supporting Al-Shabaab.

Taakeeye has lived in Nairobi – the Kenyan capital – for several years now.

Reports indicate that he formed a political party while in Nairobi. Over the years, he has been sending extremist messages through the Internet.
