The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) killed 19 Al-Shabaab operatives in an operation carried out jointly with international partners.
NISA carried out the operation in Bula-Mohamed-Abdalla village, Lower Shabelle.
The village is in Lower Shabelle’s Awdheegle district.
NISA joined forces with some of the partners collaborating with Somalia on the security front during Sunday’s offensive.
Several weapons and vehicles belonging to the militants were destroyed.
