SCC-Khaatumo declared a cessation of the clashes on Monday.
The militants have been in clashes with Somaliland armed forces for much of this year.
Their clashes have led to the deaths of numerous people and the displacement of many more.
Much of the fighting has revolved around Las Anod, a town in the Sool region.
Local authorities informed the rest of the world that SCC-Khaatumo would no longer be part of the months-long clashes in Las Anod.
